Liturgical Service

“If we really understood the Mass, we would die of joy.” -St. Jean Vianney

The Most Holy Sacrifice.

We need the help of every parishioner to create beautiful and meaningful liturgy. Attending Mass is only the beginning. There’s joy in sharing our talents and time, and we hope you will volunteer.

Beauty, then, is not mere decoration, but rather an essential element of the liturgical action, since it is an attribute of God himself and his revelation. These considerations should make us realize the care which is needed, if the liturgical action is to reflect its innate splendour.

Pope Benedict XVI

Who can serve in Liturgical ministry?

The requirements vary. All volunteers must be fully initiated into the Church according to their stage of life. Adults must have received the Sacraments, including Confirmation, whereas the youngest of altar servers need only have received First Holy Communion.
