Youth ministry is the response of the Christian community to the needs of young people, and the sharing of the unique gifts of youth with the larger community.

Annual sacramental preparation program, open to Gr. 2 and up. Registration required.

Preparation for these vital Sacraments of Initiation begins in September and goes through June. Classes are held from 8:45-10:45 am each Sunday. Children’s classes are held in the classroom, and parent classes in the parish hall.

We invite families to bring their children, 7 years old and up, to prepare to receive their 1st Reconciliation and 1st Holy Communion with us this year.

Sessions begin Thursday, Sept. 26 and conclude on June 22 where the children will receive their 1st Communion. There are sessions for both parents and children. Parents, please plan to attend with your child. It will be at Queen of Angels in the Parish Hall beginning at 5:30 pm (supper is included).

Kim Goodwin and Garth Pereira will facilitate, assisted by Companions – volunteer small group leaders and volunteer helpers.

  • You can print a registration form here, and scan and email it to dff@clallamcatholic.org, or drop it off at the parish office. The office also has printed copies available if you do not have access to a printer. Or, you can fill the form out online here.
  • There is a one-time $60 tuition fee that helps to cover the cost of curriculum and supplies for the year. You can mail a check to (or drop off payment at) the parish office, or bring cash or check to the session.
  • Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.

CCD, which stands for Confraternity of Christian Doctrine, is ongoing parish religious education for children, usually Gr. 3-6.

St. Joseph | Sequim

Annual sacramental preparation program, open to Ages 12 through 17. Registration required.

St. Joseph | Sequim

The Sacrament of Confirmation follows the Sacraments of Baptism, First Reconciliation, and First Communion. Preparation for the Rite of Confirmation involves a period of commitment to learning, prayer, and service. Open to ages 12-17yrs, the annual Confirmation program requires registration and active faithful participation.

Confirmation classes start in September, and are held every Sunday. Depending on the week, classes will either be at 8:30-10:45 am or combined with our youth group on Sunday evenings from 5:30- 8:00 pm. Check out the schedule for more details.

Preparation for the Rite of Confirmation begins Thursday, Sept. 26 at Queen of Angels Parish in the Mary Room beginning at 7:00 pm.

Register online or download and print the registration form, fill out and drop off at the Parish Office.

youth & Young adults

Ongoing faith formation for middle and high school youth and young adults.

St. Joseph | Sequim

Forged in the Pit on Sunday evenings is an ongoing youth study throughout the year.

Thursdays in the Pit are hangouts at the parish on Wednesday afternoons, open to all middle and high school youth.

Fortified Young Adult Group meets Saturdays after the Vigil Mass until 8:00 pm, in the parish hall. Dinner provided.

Youth Nights are held every Friday throughout the summer for Middle School and High School youth from 6:30 – 7:30 pm.
